AI Software Developer.
IN DEVELOPMENT
My own AI model — fine-tuned from an open-weight base and self-hosted — that my products will run on instead of a third-party API. Built with an evaluation harness to measure and improve it.
Ingest dense legal policies and instantly extract hidden liabilities. The AI parses the agreement and generates a risk-assessed, executive-ready summary.
A private tool that audits my live web apps for 19 kinds of security flaws — leaked keys, missing sign-in checks, injection risks and vulnerable packages — and explains each fix in plain English using AI. On my own projects it caught a critical framework vulnerability (patched the same day), missing security headers and outdated packages. All four apps are now at zero open findings.
Paste a public GitHub URL and get an automated map of the project — what it does, how the pieces fit together, and where to start.
See your life as a grid of weeks, and the weeks you share with your kids.
Engineering Notes
Designing for the False Negative
In legal extraction a missed clause costs more than a wrong one — so Contract Explainer optimizes for recall and makes every flag cite its source.
Signal Over Noise
Why I built a 20-flaw answer key before trusting my security scanner, and why it runs on the machine that owns the data.
The Cost of a Dependency
The decision record for self-hosting Cobalt instead of renting a frontier API — control and data boundary versus raw capability.
Based in the NYC metro area, I am an AI Application Engineer. I build complex AI systems from the ground up.
My path to engineering wasn't standard. I served in Marine Corps infantry before earning a Master's in Public Policy from Northwestern. That background hardwired me to build systems that actually survive contact with reality—optimizing for strict reliability and execution over clean theory.
I use AI to build software, but I don't just prompt and pray. I dictate the system architecture, manage the complex logic, and use LLMs to write the underlying code faster than a traditional team could. I treat AI as a tool to scale my output, but I retain absolute control over the infrastructure.
